me, me, me

Born and raised in San Diego, California
I've had an interest in art my entire life. It began the minute I got my first big box of crayolas. I’ve loved coloring outside the lines from that moment on.

Graduate of Art Center College of Design
I majored in Advertising Design. I worked in advertising, in NYC, for 30 years as an Art Director and Creative Director. But after 30 years, it was time to move on to something different.

Life after leaving the world of advertising
I co-created Mark Lipinski’s Quilter’s Home magazine. I art directed and designed the publication for five years. I also redesigned two existing magazine publications and designed fabric during this time. I even created an interactive app for the iPad. But something was missing.

Then I did what I wanted to do my entire life
I became a children’s book author/illustrator. My first two books, Who Broke the Vase?, and Who Am I? were published in 2017 by Simon & Schuster.
